The product, when used with a sand anchor, does exactly what it states. It stands up to the wind very well, having extra thick ribs of plastic which are not bowed out of shape by the wind. Fringe fabric that flaps in the wind makes some noise that some may find annoying. Carry case works fine. I would buy it again in a heartbeat, but you NEED a sand anchor as well.

The coolest beach umbrella on the sand. It is modern in design and many degrees cooler than the hot desert sands of the summer.
