DuraCord is crafted of fibers that are soft to the touch while colorfast. DuraCord maintains the highest durability rating of any rope hammock with an ultra-violet (UV) protection package to withstand 2,000 hours of UV exposure while resisting the degrading effects of the sun and rain. DuraCord exhibits superior resistance to stains and is designed to resist mold or mildew. This rope hammock is comprised of a continuous woven bed of 100% 3-ply rope with a soft, comfortable construction. The spreader bar is with stainless steel end-caps that provide protection and add a rich new look. Durable, solid oak hardwood spreader bars are protected with multiple layers of superior weather resistant coating to withstand the harsh effects of nature. Spreader bars are constructed of solid oak for premium durability and strength. Spreader bars are triple dipped in marine spar varnish to lengthen life. Spreader design enhances gentle swaying motion. Hatteras Hammocks logo is applied on each spreader bar on a metal plate representing the strength and durability of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.
