Works great September 15, 2008 Ryan Murray Bought this a few months ago and finally got to test it out on JAX beach. I was able to get good pictures through the case with water splashing up or while the camera was underwater. The one thing I don't like is that the case cost 1/5 the camera itself. But even for that combined price, you get a great camera and can take it into any water activity and not worry.
Great Houseing - Easy to use and keeps gear safe September 6, 2008 Dennis M. Griffith (LA) This a very nice housing for the Cannon Camera. No leakage, great controls and handling.
Great entry-level housing June 16, 2008 Burton V. Shank 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have three of these. Use them for shallow-water research projects. They're pretty rugged, are easy to use and maintain, and have remained problem-free to depths of 110'.
Works Great !!!! June 12, 2008 J. W. Garrett (Troy Alabama) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this product when I bought my camera at Christmas. I owned a similar product years ago for diving that held a disposable camera which began to leak after a few uses. I expected the same from this product but I was wrong. It survived a water park and the beach with no problems.
Good Product May 11, 2008 John Sherman (Asheville, NC) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Just got back from Hawaii and used the underwater housing on several dives. Went down to 90' and no problems. Used it for a night dive with the Manta Rays. You could hear the ocean noises and me breathing on the video clip, very cool. (I thought the video would be silent through the plastic.) Controls easy to use, but, you have to be familiar with camera controls. Underwater it's hard to try switch between modes or any other setting if you don't know before hand how to get there. Just practice a little. We're very glad we bought it.
