Designed by two of the most famous Hawaiian watermen in the world (Brian Keaulana and Terry Ahue), the BZ rescue sled is built to handle all ocean conditions and life-threatening situations. Constructed of high density Polyethylene Dow core, four seven layer fiberglass Structron stringers and stainless steel anchor bolts, it's no wonder why BZ rescue sleds are the only sleds approved by L.A. County Life Guards and Kawasaki. In addition, Trac-top traction pads provide a secure, non-slip surface to the sled. All rigging is 3/8" braided rope that is covered by clear vinyl tubing with 1/8" walls to prevent rope burn. Another unique feature of the BZ rescue sled is the nose guard which is made of high density (solid) polyethylene inline grommets to keep rigging secure and upright, so victims can grab easily.
