In God's Hands September 16, 2008 Mara J. Stevens (Central Coast California) This movie is simply one of the best! For surfing fans it's a classic but all will enjoy this beautifully shot movie. The story is good and the surfers amazing! The waves are some of the biggest in the world and the sound track is awesome!! Truly enjoyable on all levels.
Are you kidding me??? July 10, 2008 A. D. Gorman (Boston) I love surfing and the movies and have seen/done alot ....but this is the worst movie I have ever seen let alone purchased. I could not even watch twenty minutes of the worst acting I have ever seen anyone do....I could have grabbed a homeless guy from a landlocked state and made a better film. The scenery was the only good thing.....as fleeting as it was...most of the time it was filled with stupid close ups of overly dramatic representations....I mean....if I acted in this shoddy film, I would have had to beat myself up.....if I could give no stars and gotten a refund....I would have. I recommend you DO NOT buy this...rent it and see the horror show for yourself!
BIG WAVE ACTION April 6, 2008 TheBookWorm (Australia) Love it or Hate it, tow-in surfing is a part of life. This is a factional view of the tow-in scene. Stars a number of real surfers taking on real mountains. A pretty good movie overall.
Accept It For What It Is June 2, 2007 Patrick C. Fitzpatrick, Jr. (Mav's Country) It's a Hollywood movie starring world class surfers. Watch it for the waves, not the acting. I give the boys credit for reaching outside their 'comfort zone' and trying to act. It was probably a BLAAAAAST to film!
Old classic surf movie May 8, 2007 Ashley (Ocean Isle, NC) This movie is one by boyfriend loved when he was younger. He still likes to watch it but it is a little strange at times. Shows some classic surfing though-good to try!
