Album Description Los Angeles native singer/songwriter Marie Digby has caused a stir in cyberspace and the media with a series of highly successful music video performances on YouTube. Combining her own material and her own unique take on songs written by other artists, Marie has built a devoted following of fans all over the world with 15 million (and counting) views of her clips. Starting in Los Angeles, there's been a mini-explosion of attention as radio stations have found first her version of "Umbrella" and now her single "Say It Again", fresh and winning. NBC's Carson Daly had Marie perform on his show August 2. With sold out shows at L.A. nightspots, select national dates with Brett Dennen, nationwide radio hits, a growing media profile (including features in the Rolling Stone "Hot" issue, New York Times, Spin, Lucky, Wall Street Journal, Girl's Life, Cosmo Girl and L.A. Times) plus songs that people just can't get enough of, 2008 is shaping up to be a great year for Marie Digby. Her debut album "Unfold" is an April 8, 2008 release. Marie is also one of 5 artists to be featured in GAP'S spring 2008 ad campaign "Colors". Marie's EP "Start Here" and Christmas single "Bring Me Love" are currently available online. Marie (pr. Mahr-ee-ay)

Digby's first official single, "Say It Again" is on her debut album, Unfold. 16 tracks in all. Universal. 2008.

Ok for a once over, but once is enough July 22, 2008 P. Leang (NY, NY) 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
Preview sound bytes make this album quite attractive. Unfortunately, once I listened to the album, each song starts sounding very much like the previous one, and each song seems interminable, stringing along the listener on the same sound and beat forever. Could not wait for the end of the album.
Amazing! July 18, 2008 Lauren (Topeka, KS) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This CD is great. I didn't know much about Marie Digby, nor had I ever heard one of her songs but i decided that it was worth a try. It is fabulous! When I read the lyrics they reminded me of Anna Nalick but when I heard them it was a little like A Fine Frenzy. Gorgous lyrics, I could really relate to them. Check this album out!!!

Absolutely amazing. I picked it up because it looked good ... and it was! I'm glad she was discovered.
Notable Debut from California Songstress June 24, 2008 Terence Allen (Atlanta, GA USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Marie Digby is another in the latest music trend - a budding superstar created by cyberspace, joining a growing list that includes Colbie Caillat, Kate Voegele, and others. But like many of the others, and to her credit, she's not likely to be a multimedia-created flash-in-the pan, but a talented singer-songwriter who may have a long and successful career ahead of her.
With songs like "Say It Again," "Stupid For You," and her hit cover of Rhianna's "Umbrella," show creativity, songwriting talent, and a knack for making at least one huge cover hit. Only time will tell if Ms. Digby will have longevity, but "Unfold" is an excellent start.
Great New Artist June 18, 2008 K. Stone 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I really like Marie Digby. She has a fun upbeat style that sticks in your head. However, she isn't very original. She sounds a lot like today's popular artists, like Colbie Caillet or Sarah Bareilles, which is probably why I like her. The CD is kind of short, so it gets over faster than you'd expect, but it is charming and I do recommend it if you like this style of music.
