Amazon.com Product Description Rock your body during extreme workouts with the extra-large Timex T5F821 Ironman Triathlon multi-function, performance sport digital watch, which features a black resin body and stainless steel top ring and a top pusher for easy access to lap and split times. It's also shock resistant to ISO standards--enabling it to withstand breakage under adverse conditions. It has a number of customizable sport timing features that can be turned on and off, including 100-hour chronograph with lap or split option, 30-lap memory recall, and 24-hour countdown timer with countdown/stop and countdown/repeat functions, three alarms with 5-minute backup, and golf score keeper. Other features include a 5-year battery life, water resistance to 200 meters (660 feet), and a dark gray polyurethane strap. It incorporates the Timex Flix system, which activates the Indiglo night-light with a simple flick of your wrist. To activate FLIX, put the watch into Night-Mode by pressing and holding the Indiglo night-light button 3 seconds until it beeps. With the watch in Night-Mode, a forward "flick" of the wrist with a sharp "stop" will activate the Indiglo night-light for three seconds. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function.

ironman timex watch June 20, 2008 K. Smith 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered the watch for someone as a gift. I thought it was a good buy for $50.00 with the shipping included, then I saw the exact same watch in Target for $25.oo. I am mad!
broken quickly May 29, 2008 John D. Lewis (Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It broke within one day. The stopwatch feature does not work now. I have had luck with Timex's in the past, but the last two have been terrible. I will try another brand next time.
great for runners! May 14, 2007 Joe Jacobin 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I use this watch for running 5 & 10 k races. It has an easy to use split button. It also fits nicely on my wrist, not to large or small. Great for keeping up with all my many strokes while playing golf. I have to say this has been my the best ironman I have owned to date.
very good sports watch April 11, 2007 Shahram Mehraban i am new to running and wanted to get an ironman watch. This is a grea watch, and has a few functions that I have not used. I find the larger start/split button on the face very handy...amd not crazy about the Flix system, but then again, I am not a night runner.
loving this watch January 9, 2007 Greg Anyan (Memphis) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I wanted a watch to swim laps in the pool and be able to hit a button to count them because I cant keep up with 50 laps so I called Timex. They said just get an Ironman 200m version because it was made with extra seals around the buttons so you could use them underwater and not get water in the watch. The standard Ironman watch does not have the seals and is water resistant as long as you dont hit the buttons under water. So far, it works perfectly under water and on land. Ok, so it is big, get over it. It looks like and is a sports watch. It also looks like it cost ALOT more than it does. I am using some of the features that I didnt think that I would. I use the lap counter when I lift weights to make sure I wait exactly 1 minute between sets. I use the 3 alarms in the morning as a 1. time to get up, 2. need to get up, and 3. get up now or you are going to be late for your run or bike ride alarm system. It reminded me of my wifes birthday (I already knew but at least it reminded me to say happy birthday first thing in the morning). It is the perfect watch for a busy triathlete. It is functional, durable, and looks like a watch an athlete would wear.
